What documents are needed to start a solar AMC in Lucknow?
To begin an AMC, we need a copy of your original solar installation report or commissioning certificate, the inverter make and model, panel make and total capacity, and battery details if applicable. How do you evaluate the cost of a solar AMC in Lucknow?
AMC cost depends on system size, battery presence, and plan tier chosen. A Basic AMC for a residential 3 kW on-grid system starts at Rs. 3,000 per year covering 2 panel cleaning visits and 1 annual inspection. How often should solar panels be cleaned in Lucknow?
In Lucknow's dust-heavy environment — especially from November to May when construction dust and dry winds are at their peak — panels should be cleaned at least every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain optimal output. Our Standard plan covers 4 cleaning visits a year and our Premium plan covers 6. We clean with deionised water and soft non-abrasive tools that do not scratch the anti-reflective coating.
When should battery connections be checked during an AMC visit?
Every AMC visit includes a visual inspection of battery terminals and wiring. A full electrical check — measuring terminal voltage, state of charge, and charge/discharge rates — is done at every half-yearly visit. For lithium systems, the BMS error log is reviewed at every visit. Lead-acid batteries also get an electrolyte level check and top-up with distilled water if needed.
